  Yea, that's probably the way to go.  I'll put a full bridge rectifier etc...
Currently ( no pun intended) I use a 24 vt center tap transformer to 115 vts. I
agree with the wall power concern. I like Sean Thomas's idea of higher voltages.
I have been so brainwashed into lower voltages that I lost the advantage of
higher voltages in AD resolution.
