Dear Members,
Karl suggested that I use 40 or 42 gauge wire for the coil which leads
me to two further questions: Where can you find such fine wire, Radio
Shack doesn't carry it? How many turns do you recommend?
Thanks,
Yours truly,

A scrap automobile ignition coil secondary
is wound with #42 or thinner wire, usually copper but sometimes
aluminium. I found my coil easy to strip.
Number of turns, as many as you can get into the
available space!
Good luck
Danie Overbeek.
