About TW Leiper's modest expectations for his and
Chelsea's seismograph:

Full of admiration as I am of those who go
deeply into the finer points of seismography, 
I also salute those who are just content to see
it when Gaia shivers, without 
getting too technical about it all.

The Edenvale South Africa "observatory" operates 
a seismograph and a magnetograph on the above basis.
