If you have one of the GeoSpace HS 10 -1 geophones from the PSN group buy
last year, or you happen to have one, I have the following info for you.

A couple of days ago I contacted GeoSpace to see how much it would cost to
refurbish one of the units I have. They could not give me a quite without
seeing it, so I sent one (I have two from the group buy) too them. They
called today and gave me a quote of $150.00 + shipping to overhaul the unit
and to test and re calibrate the unit. Not bad... New units go for ~$2600.
They do have a cheaper GS-1 model at ~$1000.
