Compliments to John Hernlund for a very nice and well done analysis of the rotating pair of accelerometers. I'd like to add that, as far as instrumentation is concerned, it is] much easier to obtain stable high gain in a passband that is not centered at baseband ... in other words, a high gain, stable AC amplifier is easier to achieve than a high gain stable DC amplifier, and the rotating frame has the benefit of moving at least part of the spectrum of interest up out of the baseband ... John, I admire what you have done. Regards to all warren __________________________________________________________ Public Seismic Network Mailing List (PSN-L)
