Dick,
I agree with Brett that 8112 is the date code, 12th week of 1981. Sounds like
it's an OP-27 low noise op-amp. PMI is Precision Monolithics Inc.which no
longer exists, but the OP-27 is made by Texas Instruments and Analog Devices. I
got some from the Jameco catalog.
