Ian, I can do this, but people would have to use an ftp user/password that I send them to get into my system. This would only be needed for the upload. The directory would be open of read by ftp and the web server. I can't leave a directory open for write using the anonymous account. It wouldn't take long before someone looking around on my system to discover the open for write directory and start using it for their own purpose.
