Karl, Any specifics on opening up the KS36000 seismo with the manuel? I note the one I got, has 2 indications of failure, one is the hand written word "inop", and there is a loose object therein, that clunked around when loading at Albuquerque. I suspect it may need a huge anchored pipe vise and wrench as it likely may have threaded sections....or special tools combo to do so. It would be nice to confirm damage, and go from there, in regard to any disposition or possible repair. Anyone else having success at opening a unit?
