may, maynot be of interest.

The first and most recent deals with what appears to be a
new and as of yet non-production item? (no specific ID) by
Applied MEMS Inc.  Its a micromachined capactitive accelerometer
and a custom mixed-signal, closed loop, force feedback ASIC.
