should not be a problem as we can easily melt snow.  We need a reliable 
source of communications on this mountain in case of emergency, and there is 
nothing like ham radio for that purpose.  If we had a single 100 ft tree, 
we'd be ok.  but at 9000 ft there just isn't much there.   Thanks, and 73.
