Hello Bryan&Regina, I interfaced a Garmin to a computer that was running a seismograph. It's not hard. Garmin puts out a standard NEMA sequence and you can read it and set the computer clock. The problem is that it is just nowhere close to accurate enough if. I actually think that the 45 puts out the time every two seconds and even if it was every second it would not be good enough to know that you clock is within two seconds of the real time. If you have a permanent connection to the internet, DSL or cable for example you can get quite accurate time by using a time server like Dimension 4 for example. These programs go check the time at very precise time stations and then reset your computers clock. Then you I think you can set the SDR clock through the serial port. ángel Sunday, June 17, 2001, 3:51:12 AM, you wrote: BRG> Can I use the Garmin output with the current SDR program for timing?
