I agree, it is almost impossible to set up a file association using the current format. I was thinking that any PSN binary formatted file could end in PSN. I'm not sure how one would do this. I think the VC 16 bit compiler and runtime library I am using would not allow me to create or open a file that is not in the 8.3 format.
