Angel, 
  I don't know what the S-500 needs.  I have a SL-220 and bought the
manual and the connector from Teledyne Geotech, 3401 Shiloh Rd.,
Garland, Texas 75041 1-214-221-0000.  I talked to them on the 'phone and
they were very helpful.  Each cost $35.
  The connector is a Bendix PTO6A-14-18P (SR)
