Hey y'all,

In reference to wanting to drive an RS-232 signal for a long way.  A few
years ago, I purchased a protocol converter for just such a purpose.  I
was sending an RS-232 signal for a thousand feet, or so.  The project
ended, and I found out I had one more converter than I needed.  I don't
need it now, and it's just gathering dust in my shop.  I think I paid
about one hundred and fifty bucks for it.  If anyone needs such a
critter, I'd be open to any reasonable offer - spell that cheap!
