Hi Greg,
I suggest that you check Ebay for geophones, seismometer and seismic.
You periodically get geophones for sale, mostly 14 Hz and above. Do also
check the various Ebay 'stores'.
Depends what you want to do, but you can make quite a respectable
geophone type sensor by sticking a weight to the centre of a piezo sounder disk.
