Hi Larry.
    With all the attention given to hurricane Katrina (and now, increasingly of Ophelia
as it is battering the Carolinas) you may be interested in my latest paper, titled
"Hurricanes and Earth hum", online at http://arxiv.org/html/physics/0509103
       The records for this paper were taken with my 'modernized conventional
pendulum', some pictures of which are posted to this arxiv site.  The pendulum was
featured in the April issue of the Popular Science article titled "Affordable
earthquake detector", concerned with last year's tsunami.
