Thanks for the emails and carbide notes...obviously I'am way behind the tim=

with up to date carbide offerings. I read where there is ~5000 grades of
carbide,
and probably many coating variations on such. At the minimum, I'll have to
to
to a tool shop and check out visually what they have and go from there. I'd
think there wouldn't be much commercial brand/public variations in carbide
drills...which narrows it alot.
