I don't own a short cable for this, with stereo connections at the end.
I can buy some tomorrow and test it then.

The smaller spikes aren't constant. But there is a pattern in them. So I
think it is some type of noise that the cable picks up or some type of
noise that the geophone picks up.

I am unsure what you mean here. If I disconnect the cable from the
amplifer board, the plot is flat. No spikes, large or small ones.
