I plan to build a long period seismometer this fall. It is going to be a
unusual type of seismometer that I am going to build. But the guy how
did build it, calls it PVC seismometer. I don't know if he is the actual
desinger or not. But I find this type of seismometer to be intresting.

Based on traces that he shows on his webpage, his recordings of
teleseismic earthquakes are farly good.
