If Bentonite clay is what you are looking for, it's easy enough to 
make something to hold it - Clumping cat litter is Bentonite clay - 
there are some very dust-free ones if dust could be an issue - the 
best dust free is made by Dr. Elsey's - precious cat Ultra.  Petsmart 
carries it.
