Hi Steve,
 
  I do not code in Java, but I have code in Visual Basic 6.0  which reads, 
filters, and writes PSN files (my WQFilter.exe utility). Alan Jones  is working 
on a Java version of AmaSeis. He probably has a Java routine for  making PSN 
files.
