The damage appears to be reasonably extensive but is still being assessed.

One elderly woman is reported to have died of a heart attack in the immediate 
aftermath of the quake. Eleven people were taken by ambulance to hospital with 
injuries, the most serious of which was a broken leg.

It seems we were pretty lucky.
