Paul,

If you set up your computer in dual-monitor mode, then you could use 
one screen for AmaSeis and the other for other applications.  With 
this setup, you can have SnagIt capture the AmaSeis helicorder screen.

I haven't tried it with a dual-monitor configuration, but you might 
be able to get the MWSnap option to work, thus saving the $30 fee for
