Hello Gary,

Most of the carbon fiber that I have tried is a bit too strong.  I have tried mainly unidirectional sheets and some twills.  The unidirectional stuff is stiffer than hacksaw blades.

the 0.014 might be usefull
the 0.021 is probably too stiff.

the stuff is easy to crack to size, you just sort of snap it off in long strips.
