Is it possible for you to post a photo of which you speak.
I tried to look this bb3 thing up but no photos.
It appears to be a foreign ( non usa ) instrument.
I have found hardwiring things together in a permanent
fashion is best when you are dealing with geophones.
Ideally they have an unlimited lifetime.
