Hello PSN if able to get through;
I was able to track the bad email down to from either southern Mexico
or Bogotá Columbia but there was no one that would
accept an abuse report at LACNIC.
To me it looked just like a email I got
from a good friend who had an infected machine.
He was in San Diego ( dead now ) and he was
totally ignorant on the ways to protect yourself
from such things. I guess today the bad guys are
even more sophisticated then they were a few
years ago. Possibly there is a PSN member
in South America maybe Columbia but Larry does not
believe this he thinks its a spammer.
I really don't know myself. It is my understanding
you can trust the header above the reference number
but not below it and these guys can send mail
through unguarded relay server points in the internet.
This means to me the origin point could easily be masked.
But when I tracked a bad email to my friends machine it
did in fact point to himself as being the origin.

geoff
