To all Related to instrument quality- maybe. I have noticed a lot more microseismi= c activity the last few days. The background noise on my vertical is around= +/- 300 counts @=A0 8.7 sec=A0 and 6.6 sec=A0 (two narrow peaks). I don't = remember this magnitude in years past. I'm sure it is weather related. I li= ve about 200 miles east of the west coast of northern California. Anyone el= se noticed an increase in background lately? Every time I look at the outpu= t I think I'm looking at surface waves after an event. Barry
