I also picked up one of these a few months ago.  I'm actually using it 
for a different purpose at the moment.

It has a EPROM selectable range setting from: +/-2g, +/-4g, +/-8g.  It 
has 10-bit resolution/axis with a max sampling rate of 125 samples/s.
