Many people use a freeware product called "Fling".  This works well if you 
can locally create an image file which is then automatically uploaded to 
your website.  You can find complete directions on how to use it at
http://www.iris.edu/hq/files/programs/education_and_outreach/seismographs_in_schools/docs/Amaseis-and-Fling.pdf

Alternatively, you can use a product called "SnagIt" which will do the 
screen capture and upload together.  It is available at
http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp
