Geoff,

There is a flag bit in the PSN Type 4 header that can be used to turn off CRC 
checking. See the "Flags" field in the "Fix Header" section on this page 
http://www.seismicnet.com/psnformat4.html for more info. If you send me one of your 
PSN files that has not been saved by WinQuake I'll take a look at it.
