Question for PSN members:

In the past I have noticed some of these
rare earth magnets are chrome plated
and some are not.

ALSO,

They seem terribly sensitive to corrosion.

What type of rare earth magnets will
stand up indefinitely ( well 20 years )
to everyday life environment without
peeling chrome plate or rusted or
corroded looking magnets ?

Possibly they need a varnish or ??
