Hi Jerry,

If you look at many of the designs you will see that typically the support
wire from the boom to the vertical member is roughly 45 degrees. I'm not
aware of any rules that govern the support angle. If the support angle is
too low then the support wire tension gets too high.

Hi All,

 

I was wondering if while designing (building) a horizontal Lehman type
sensor, there was a ratio between the dimensions of the length of the
pendulum arm and height of the vertical member?
