There is also possibility
of corruption within
transit or ones own machine.
I have found the merchants
who sell computers know almost nothing
about them and do not
understand a computer is no good
if it corrupts data to the slightest degree.
They are also unwilling to fix a bad
computer they make unless
you pay them astronomical amounts.
They are simply business men and have
no love of science other than
the science of separating man from his money.
You really need a corporation
to build and sell these things
with some kind of natural warranty.

Just a thought, A local business,
tried to rip me off once
to fix a flaky machine once sold to me.
Which was supposed to be good in the first place.
Then I found what I was really dealing with.
I fixed it myself by pulling out a RAM card
and reducing my memory by 1/2.
I hope no one here will fall victim
to those small business crooks.

Hi Geoff,
