Subject: Coil Winding

Has Anyone tried taking like 10 separate spools of wire
hen marry the ends together then wind all ten
imultaneous with like 500 turns
hen solder the output of one to the input of the
ther to get a 5000 turn coil ?
Would this work ?
Hi Geoff,
Possibly, but it is liable to give trouble with so many joints.
It is much easier to mount the coil former on a 1/4" bolt, clamp this in=
a hand drill and count the turns of the handle.
    Regards,
    Chris
