Chuck and Randy,
I too would like to know more about your methods. If you feel compelled to
go off-list, please include me in the communications;

Subject: Hilbert transform
Chuck and Randy,
I would like to know the details of your Hilbert transform methods
(whether the methodology employs convolution or an operator formalism). The
whole list-serve readership may not be similarly interested; so it's
probably best that you send the information to my email address, if you
would please; i.e., to peters_rd@...........
The discussions about modulated seismic signals illustrate for me, once
again, the great value of meaningful interdisciplinary interactions-if they
progress beyond the customary 'lip-service' that I encounter most of the
time. I have not been exposed to the Hilbert transform, but suspect that it
can be of great value to my work-since I long ago began to appreciate the
value of quadrature relationships involving harmonic signals.
