I would Suggest you get some long nylon mans socks
(they come in bunches)
and fill them with kitty litter (Clear & blue crystal stuff)
Tie the socks in the middle with dental floss leaving enough string
so you can place and retrieve them using a coat hanger.
then place those socks around your equipment
to keep the moisture down all year long.
That kitty litter seems to make a good desiccant.
