Dave,

Thanks for your kind words. That thing was a real labor of love. I would 
have built it full size, but then I'd have to find a place to keep it! 
as it is, it works very well. The electronics are a very broad band PID 
setup.

Here in North Carolina we almost never have local quakes, so it is all 
teleseismic. I guess that's good!
