yes totally nutz,  BUT   an interesting article linked in that one was of a guy
who had a bunch of radon detectors he built and installed around the place.
Predicted the quake and had a gag order placed on him by the Govt and head
  of that commission.

    After the quake, the technician guy who had the radon detectors was 
invited
to talk at the AGU  (American Geopysical Union)  where his research was more
warmly welcomed.

Had that Italian commission not dismissed him so quickly, they may not now
be in the crap they are in !!
