it is appropriate to observe that the creation story in the Old =
Testament is just one of many creation myths and is certainly not a =
=E2=80=9Cscientific=E2=80=9D explanation of how life formed on Earth. =
One of the characteristics of a =E2=80=9Cscientific=E2=80=9D explanation =
is cause and effect: If conditions A exist then results B will follow. =
Biblical stories do not provide such cause and effect predictability, =
therefore are not =E2=80=9Cscientific=E2=80=9D. If you want to discuss =
=E2=80=9Cfaith=E2=80=9D, this is probably not the forum.
