Howdy Jim,
I see you work with radar,
Can you tell me why in the 1950s
one might pave a city street withy Gold Leaf ?
Mixing it in with the tar sprayed on the road ?

Some kind of radar reflectevity experiment
from satellite or planes ?

Dealing with paved roads?

I remember the pieces of gold being imbedded
within the tar as large flakes possibly inch square.

radar 2.54cm (about)

Ever heard of this kind of scientific study
covered by civilian celebration ?

The city was Wytheville Virginia and the time
was like Summer of 1956.

Regards,
geoff
