Hi Dave, Let's check from the top-- You are recording with WinSDR and
you use Winquake to display the event data. 1) the event was at 7/6
19:10 or so. Open Winsdr and click on File in the upper left tool bar
and then click on replay. 2) a replay window opens and put in the start
time. 19:10 and make sure the date in 7/ 6 click on the all channels box
and all the active channels will be saved -- click start and a window
will ask fopr the total number of min. you want to save. Put in 60 if
you are local or 120 if you are on the Pacific coast. Hit OK and the
event file is now created in the same file dir that all event files are
saved in.
Part two Go to Winquake. Open and load the event file 110706.191000.xxx
you should see the event file you just created in WinSDR.

In Winsdr I use the "replay" function. Choose the date and start time
and channel. When you hit start another window will pop up that asks how
long of a time you wish to save.

getting rather annoyed and frustrated here ;) I cannot see how to
force a save
at some random time. Yes you can do a forced event save but it only
covers the current time.
An example .... during last nite there was the M7.7 just north of New
Zealand,
I may have just recorded that on my geophone. I can see a distinct
signal above
the noise floor at the right time, but I cant do a save from and to a
specific time.

Is it possible and I just havent discovered how ? or is it a feature
that really needs
to be added to Winquake ?

cheers
Dave
