The Only time I had such problems was after
setting an unacceptable number into
one of the settings areas.
Like looking for data outside the
already formed data file or setting
the alarms values wrong.
It would not return to a default condition
all by itself.
But that was a long time ago,
I rarely make such a mistake today.
I think error handling needs work
but that is also same for Windows(Whatever version).

wow thanks guys :)

I was finding that the 3.18 beta version currently available was crashing
virtually
every time that I ran it. so wanted to go back to a version I was
previously using
that I knew worked on my PC's.
But in the early hours of this morning 0100hrs my local time, whilst having
email rounds with Jerry Payton. I did discover what Larry had done with some
of the newer versions.....
I had noticed that the save "view only " had disapeared from the save window
and was going round and round in circles trying to figure an alternative.
Finally discovered that he has replaced it with a "crop" function which is now
in the "View" dropdown menu :)

The 2 x Lehman style sensors are under construction as per....
http://jclahr.com/science/psn/chapman/2008%20lehman/index.html

hopefully at least 1 of them will be up and running before the end of july

again thanks to all that responded and those that sent the file :)

cheers
Dave Nelson
