Hi Chris,

I just put together a couple of graphs from our modeling program to 
demonstrate how the spring-mass Q affects, or rather doesn't affect 
the instrument velocity response.

In one chart the spring-mass (Blue curve) Q is 1, and in the other it 
is 100.  The feedback electronics are unchanged between the two, set 
up for critical damping at the 50 second corner, and as you can see 
the instrument response (Green curve) is largely independent of the Q 
of the spring-mass.
