This distance was ~104 degrees. USIN got a good record, as I did, on this quake. Larry steered me in the right direction but I had to change the tables after inputting the data. Good to talk to you again. On 9/16/2011 10:19 AM, Christopher Chapman wrote:It seems I have had this problem once before. This distance was ~104 degrees. Help ... there is something wrong with Winquake. I can input data for the quake, I get an error message that it can't set the P and S...what am I missing??Hi Tom,You seem to be about 95 degrees away from Figi, so the Pand S waves may be a bit garbled and weak. Check the timedelay and the wave types received on the USGS time/travelchart? Maybe Winquake can't pick out the waves, or youhaven't extracted the trace for a long enough time ?Regards,Chris
