Hello All,

Did anyone notice the strange distances listed for the Sumatra quake today?=
=20

There are three from Pearland, Texas, Two say about 10,000kms and the other=
 says =A0=A0=A0=20
around 16,000Kms, Same place?

My listing says 13500ish Kms (Calgary, AB Canada), where Kona Hawaii says 1=
2,000 Kms. I=20
wish it was only 1500 Kms to Hawaii for me, I sure would visit a lot more!!=
! It is almost eight=20
hours of flyiing for me to get to Hawaii. Those must be pretty slow aircraf=
t to fly 1500Kms in=20
eight hours?!?!? :-)

Spring TX is listed about 16,000Kms. Seems to agree with one of the Pearlan=
d Texas files. I=20
know Texas is a big place but 6000Kms??? :-)

Can anyone explain why the seemingly strange distances for this quake. I ha=
ve never noticed=20
this before. (The difference in my distance and Kona's is what caught my ey=
e.)=20

Thanks,

Jeff
