Hi Dale,

Interesting setup. I assume the adapter with antenna just plugs into Larry's
A/D board, while the other end is connected to the WinSdr computer?

Since 2008 my data collection works on a wireless network. Next to the
instruments, there is an old PC collecting data. This PC (no monitor, no
keyboard, no mouse connected) sends its data over the wireless network to
another machine inside my house.

This way I was able to get rid of the long cables. I am very happy with the
wireless connection. I can access the old PC through VNC.

With the use of a serial adapter, I wouldn't need the old PC either.

Hi all,

I am trying to setup a Bluetooth RS232 link with Larry's ADC and WinSdr

I can connect to the Bluetooth serial adapter with a small logger I made
using either hyperterminal or a little program I wrote.

Settings 38400,n,8,1

The Bluetooth device appears as a serial port, comm 10

However plug into Larry's box WinSdr crashes without making a connection.

Windows 7

Has anyone used this or a similar setup ?

Regards

Dale
