In the USA you must also worry about such things
as Personal Property Tax
Real Property Tax
Personal Income Taxes
Capital Gain etc usw...
Much more complex than just customs stuff.

I think taxes is how the government mainly controls its peoples.

It seems a simpler thing in other countries.
