Thanks Brett. If I can not find a shop to do it I may use your idea and
spring for a drill press and buy an adapter chuck to try it myself.

really small holes with a drill press or small lathe.

Those are rather expensive, though I suspect that you could find
lower quality versions for somewhat less.
