Heh Charles, the nesting approach appears an easy one that even I with
little skill can manage. Back to the hobby shop to see if they have the
appropriate nesting sizes.
Seems a great idea - thanks

One thought for a totally different solution. Buy a pieces of the the
smallest K&S brass tubing from your local hardware store or hobby
store. I think the smallest is either 1/16 or 1/32 ID. Get as many
nesting sizes to get to the largest OD you need. If you need smaller
than the ID, also get some brass foil 0.001" thick brass foil. You can
roll your wire with the foil to get to the required ID. Once everything
is sized, apply a bit of plumbing flux, and solder it together. It will
be tight, and the essential TCE will be that of the bulk of the brass
tubing.
