When recording yesterdays events, I noticed that the second big Sumatran
quake and the Mexican event were 9,713.5km and
9,713.2km, respectively, from my location . The P arrival took 9s and the S
arrival 16s longer from the Sumatran event. Can I conclude anything from
this, or is it just a function of the underlying calculations?
